They Have Left

After only three short days, the humans have left my island. Prospero confronted all of them and showed them what each one of them had been planning to do. Ashamed, they gave Prospero back his position in the company. Prospero went back to the plane with the others and fixed it so they could all leave together. I hope I never have the misfortune of dealing with humans again. In only these three days they have managed to leave behind many bottles and cans that contained food and beverages. They also damaged many plants in an unsuccessful attempt to build shelters. I guess it was a good thing for them that they got off the island so soon, for had they not I don't believe they would have had the skills necessary to survive after their food supplies ran out. I never did reveal myself to the others, and I believe it was best that I did not. If too many people came to know of my existence they may come searching for me, destroying my island in the process. With only Prospero knowing of my existence it is unlikely anyone would believe him if he talked about me. Now that this small chapter in my life is over, I can happily go back to my tree with few worries about what lies ahead for my island.

My Concerns

The greed of these humans is unbelievable. Already two of the servants have plotted to take over my island for their own. Worse than that, two of the employees who are already in high positions in the company are willing to kill their own brothers just to have a little more power and make a little more money. Prospero has had me manipulating them so that none of their plans work out, but they will still look bad for having attempted these things. What I am concerned about is that the greed of these men will bring them back to my island in attempts to claim it and use it for their own purposes, destroying it in the process. Already the air has become more polluted from the carelessness of the humans across the seas. I have also found plastic waste that has washed ashore. If this much pollution has already been seen on my island, where no humans reside, it scares me to think about what the humans have done to the rest of the world. That is why I must get rid of these humans as soon as possible in order to prevent the destruction of my island.

The Storm

I don't know how he knew, maybe he has some magic himself, but the human, Prospero, knew exactly when his coworkers would be flying nearby. He did not explain what his plan was to me but now I see what he is trying to do. At noon today he had me create a huge storm overhead. Shortly after, a flying machine, he calls it an airplane, came down and landed in the ocean nearby. I was shocked and enraged to see even more humans come piling out of the plane, grumbling about the storm and electrical problems they were having. They all wandered away from each other looking for resources around my island. I don't like what Prospero is doing, but if he has a plan I don't want to mess it up now and have all these humans left on my island.

Humans Have Come

Today the strangest thing occurred, I found a human wondering around my island. He was wondering around, obviously with no clue what to do, gathering sticks when he broke a branch off my tree. I was angered by the destruction on my island that was already occurring in result of the the human, so I confronted him. He was shocked to see me, and even seemed scared at first, but then he managed to pull himself together and remain fairly calm. He told me that he had heard of stories of sprites such as me, but had never truly believed in them. He then preceded to tell me about how his brother had tricked him into getting stranded on this island with only his servant, daughter, and the clothes they wore. He pleaded for me not to harm him and that if he could, he would leave my island as soon as possible. However, because my island is so far away from any other landmass, it would be impossible for him to leave without my help. I agreed to do whatever he said in order to have him gone as soon as possible. Hopefully this issue will be resolved fast.
